Football diplomacy, Armenia-Turkey: From Ararat’s victory to Jorkaeff’s goal

There is much speculation nowadays on “football diplomacy” policy initiated by the Armenian president in 2008 which, in fact, has contributed to the warming in relations between Armenia and Turkey.

It is noteworthy that the football diplomacy factor had, actually existed long before, although in an absolutely different way. In short, the factor of sports has been used as a diplomatic weapon in Armenia-Turkey relations.

Dear Armenianow. As a “Yervanzi” ask you: Please, try to inform your readers about the current realities! Sorry, this is not the right article for my comments but I hope “armenianow” will still publish it! 2 weeks go authorities – this is the oligarchy regime- gave a lot of $$$$´s to celebrate "Erbuni 2791” – this is first of all to celebrate themselves (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_yh7QKMgy0&feature=related ) my relives in Yerevan were upset, because of huge spending (maybe all 500 million credit from Russia is gone- is in the “air”!! ) And a couple miles way from” golden Republic square” the sad reality was as fallowing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qs896gUmRAY And by every “election” our Hayatan is getting rich of one more “patriotic oligarchy”- I say this not as “Diaspora” but as a “Yervanzi”! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXTfi8LBMSg God of Oligarhies can not save our Hayastan but we can and we should!
