Sport: Armenian women still inspiring in basketball, disappointing in soccer

Yerevan women’s basketball club Hatis beat Turkish club Besiktas 87-64 in a European Cup game in Istanbul Thursday night. The Armenian club took a first-quarter lead and didn’t falter to dispatch the second-place team in Group F of the International Basketball Federation. Hatis’ win brings its record in league play to 2-1.

padoyan lol i noticed that too. Good job team Hatis. Make us proud. We have also been successful in the weightlifting world championship. Congrats to our sportsmen and sportswomen. We are now one of the best weightlifting nations in the world.

Its incredible that out of nowhere Hatis comes back and win two of their latest games against strong teams. It should be written more about them and their inspiring victory on Turks in Turkey! Amazing and we all should support them! PS: the Armenian flags in the picture are upside down... looks more like a colombian team...
