A young Armenian couple from Russia came to Armenia to get married, in part due to the “Wedding in Homeland” program of the Ministry of Diaspora.

I like the idea. It's very likely that Diasporan Armenians would visit Armenia to get married or spend their honeymoon there. This is why a rapid development of tourism industry is so critical in a landlocked, mineral-less, and oil-free country like Armenia. Tourism can be a big part of the GDP along with agriculture, IT industry, and diamond cutting. I've visited Armenia 3 times and each time I see improvements in different areas such as infrastructure, citizens' attitude, and quality of service. However, there is much more to be done before Armenia becomes a tourism destination for non-Armenians.
