Lake Sevan: Problems and perspectives

Netting all kinds of fish in Lake Sevan will be banned in the next 3-4 years in a bid to preserve species and maintain the ecology of the lake, said Vladimir Movsisyan, head of the president-affiliated commission on Lake Sevan problems, at a press conference Tuesday.

After several visits to Armenia; I see the answer to water problems. Expensive as it is initially; there needs to be water tank resovoirs constructed village by village and stop the historical free running water which is too wasteful. Thus providing improved water availability. i.e. 24 hrs daily.Conservation is always the answer but implementing it is another story in its self.Isn't investment for the future the answer for these woes?
