Facebook Engagement: Hostel sees benefits of social networks in promoting budget travel in Armenia

A representative of a hostel in Yerevan that claims to be one of the first to start promoting its services through popular social networks online says that having a fan page on Facebook has helped advance the business at home and abroad and make Armenia more recognizable as a travel destination to the foreign market.

This hostel manager definitely looks too serious. I happen to believe that he's more cheerful when you meet him. Good job Envoy Hostel!

The key thing with Envoy is the the product they are selling is excellent. People who have stayed with Envoy leave with a great sense of hospitality and new friendships. I think Gevorg and CO are ambitious and innovative, they are proud Armenians and are making a difference to their country's tourism sector.
