At about 6.00 pm Monday Armenian police released President of the Armeconombank Board Saribek Sukiasyan, a brother of prominent pro-opposition businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan, and Ayrarat trade fair director Artash Stepanyan from custody in which they were held for 72 hours after being detained on suspicion of issuing a murder threat against a fellow entrepreneur and illegally carrying arms on Friday.

Both have pledged not to leave the city while investigation in the case is in progress.
