«Վերին Լարս». Տնտեսական շահ և քաղաքական շահաբաժիններ Հայաստանի համար

Ռուս-վրացական սահմանին գտնվող միակ ավտոմոբիլային անցակետը` «Վերին Լարսը», երեք տարի փակված մնալուց հետո վերաբացվեց: Անցակետը փակվել էր 2006 թ. ռուսական կողմի որոշմամբ` վերանորոգման աշխատանքների պատրվակով: Սեպտեմբերին Վրաստանն ԱՄՆ 2,5 մլն դոլար ֆինանսական աջակցությամբ ավարտեց «Կազբեգի» ժամանակակից սահմանային անցակետի շինարարությունը:

this is great news for the economy of Armenia. Political gains are marginal when the economy is in such a dire condition... the only thing is that the area is volatile and it might close again, but that is not in Armenians hand...
