Dear New Day, Armenia is not solely about churches, pomegranates and Garni. The world maybe changing but narrow-minded and dull-witted people will always remain.

Where I live in USA there is a cine complex building consisting of 10 cine halls; that is, it is good for showing 10 films at the same time. It has been closed for more than 5 years now and the building is for sale and nobody is buying it. This is the same story all over USA. That era is over with the advent of home theater technology, cheap DVD players and so on. Yerevan is slowly entering the new era and should adapt. I know there were cultural events at open air theater of Yerevan, but there are plentiful places for conducting cultural events at the Ketron of Yerevan and in much cheaper way; the cultural musical event in the past summer at that open place by Cine Moscow did cost too much to arrange and perform. If you care for the next cultural event there then dig in your pockets or bring your checkbooks with you. Wake up Armenians and adapt to the changes! That era is getting over with. The population of Ketron is growing, and its visitor tourists are increasing and there is need for more churches with each passing year.
