Divorce- Armenian style: A family in Yerevan applies to the court to share children

Nine year old Kamo and his 13 year-old sister Victoria say they do not want to be divided as an apple or a cookie and insist they both want to stay and live with their father.

This is news because it's a discussion of Armenian families and how divorce is handled. It's another look into the Armenian culture.

I don't quite understand why this story was posted on Armenianow. This is a family matter and should be treated as such, no? On a news site, it comes off as pure gossip.
