The Customer is Always Wrong?: Consumer rights violations remain commonplace in Armenia

Consumer rights need protecting in Armenia, say local organizations.

Chairwoman of the National Association of Consumers Melita Hakobyan says there is hardly a sphere in Armenia where consumer rights are upheld.

this is unfortunately true, there needs to be a gradual cultural change. Tourism is a great potential for Armenia, and for that to happen the customer should always be right (not in the way discussed in the article, more customer-seller relationship). It takes time but hopefully the general public in Armenia will start picking it up.
