Latest moves, statements reveal rifts within Armenian opposition
Several developments in Armenia’s opposition field this week have revealed friction within the opposition alliance. But the group led by Armenia’s ex-president has downplayed the impact of some dissent on the opposition’s institutional capacity.
On Monday there were reports that Ararat Zurabyan, chairman of the Board of the Armenian National Movement (ANM), a party that has been the support base for Armenia’s former president and current opposition leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, had tendered a letter of resignation. Reply |
