This article deserves no response. If you go back far enough, the Azeris should own Uzbekistan and much further back probably South Africa where all humanity sprang up from. The way I see it Aliyev constantly rattles the sabres to ensure his own clan's corruption is not challenged by his own people. For us Armenians, Diasporan and National it is clear that we will not tolerate another Nakhdjevan scenario.

How much propaganda can an article have? Just wow.. this article is so paranoid that its not funny but sad.. I want to repeat the last sentence: “And the target of this new stage is not Nagorno-Karabakh, but Yerevan as the capital of the Armenian State.” Who on earth are you trying to scare here? The article looks like its written by a 5-year-old with no professional background or even basic knowledge for that matter. This is just pure propaganda. Young Azerbaijani is confused since he/she can not find any trace of "Azerbaijani kingdom" which is definitely not the case with Armenians or Georgians etc... Azerbaijani authorities have even invented for the young Azerbaijani a “Azerbaijani Genocide”… but Azerbaijani remains a country/ a “young nation” without a past of his own which makes Azerbaijani society become more ill … in the modern world history the "young nations" are/were the most aggrasive ones - e.g. Turkey, Germany of Bismarck , Aliyev´s Azerbijan and so on...

The notion that Yerevan is "azerbaijani land" would be so laughable if it weren't insulting. If this is the type of diplomacy Armenia will encounter from the azeri side, then let us remind them that Armenians built Baku. The entire city was built with Armenian hands. Azerbaijan is an accidental republic created just prior to the establishment of the Soviet Union. If true justice is to prevail, this accidental country must be broken up and parts should be given to Iran, Russia, and Armenia. The re-population of Armenian on all the liberated territories outside Artsakh is essential. Negotiating to settle this conflict will never produce any results. It's been proven fruitless in the past, now, and will be the same in the future.

Some of Azerbaijani and Turkish politicians being simple borne as racists… Armenians are they only nation/people who have shown over again resistance against Turks – since the appearance of Turks in this region.. . ....Aliyev(ov) has to make such stupid and rude statements because he is well aware of the fact that parts of current territories of Azerbaijani Rep. as well Turkish Republic is historically recognize as ARMENIA! Aliyev(ov) would reprint all world maps of last 4000 years if he could and this were possible! I am sure every time Azerbaijani rulers come across a map of the region printed before 1900´s they get angry and ill …. Simply because there were NO Azerbaijan….

This is an utterly ridiculous position for the Azeri government to take. Their president seems to have his recollection of history backwards. The age of the City of Yerevan rivals that of the City of Rome, and has always belonged to the Armenians throughout history; hence it is historically Armenian. The present-day Azeris are decendants of the Seljuk Turks, who came into the Caucasus Region around the 11th Century AD. It is the Azeris, who have come after the fact, not the other way around. Yerevan became the capital of the Armenian Republic in 1918, when independence was achieved, and is the historical significance of that year. At the time of the 1918 independence, Karabagh was part of the Armenian Republic. In fact, the reason for the current conflict or impasse with the Azeris over Karabagh is the legacy of Josef Stalin, who arbitrarily moved the borders of the Armenian Republic so that Karabagh would belong the Azerbaijan SSR, in an apparent ill conceived attempt to appease and passify the Azeris, whose population is greater in number.

Ehum...yeah he is absolutely right. If we follow up with the twisted logic of this Turkish dictator, then: 1. Current day Azerbaijan and it's capital Baku belong to Armenia, since it was an Armenian territory during Tigranes II reign. 2. Current day north western Iran belongs to Armenia. 3. Syria belongs to Armenia 4. Lebanon belongs to Armenia 5. Current day Israeli territories going all the way south to Acre, belongs to Armenia 6. Last but not least, all the lands of current day Turkey, excluding the eastern parts(Constantinople and Smyrnia etc etc) Well well well, these lands belonged to Armenia once, and maybe sargsyan should act childish and bellicose like Aliyev, and bring the Azerbaijani occupied Armenian territories extending from Artsakh all the way to Baku....after our ancestral lands are turned over to us, then we can sit down with this corrupt Turk and discuss Yerevans status. As the days pass by Aliyev, his fantasies are growing daily, dillusions are overriding the Turks rational thinking. Such a childish and elementary thinking..
