Soccer: Armenia announces Iran friendly

Armenian soccer’s governing body has announced a friendly game between the national teams of Armenia and Iran that is due to be held in Yerevan next month.

The Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) said on Wednesday the game will take place at Hrazdan Stadium in the capital on August 11 (kickoff at 9:00pm local time).

I hope this will open more doors of friendship with the two nations. I doubt this will be visible in the US on any network :(

Iran has a very good team so it is good to have it as an international friendly game opponent before official matches in September/October. Hope our guys can show what they've learned recently. and it is importnant to show support to our team, and also respect for our neighbors iranians. good luck guys
