Planting a Future: ATP builds foundation for self-sustaining forests

Beginning next year the seedling nursery of the Armenian Tree Project located in the village of Margahovit, Lori province, about 120 kilometers from Yerevan, will provide 1 million trees every year.

The saplings grown on the land lot in 12 hectares will be planted both in the neighboring forests and be given to various communities to organize tree planting on the spot.

GBRAVO! reet job! I was not able to Yerevan should take Lisbon as an example! Lisbon has planted around mountains and the hills millions of tree! Yerevan needs to plane trees in hills within Yerevan around e-.g “TV tower” Yerevan needs a nice tower and park with statue of NOHA looking to mt. ARARAT (with his three sons looking in three direction – this is my dream to help to implement such a project in Armenian) Yerevan needs a small palace with remains of last Armenia king- Levon - Yerevan has start working to move Gulbengyan museum to Yerevan! PS: I tried to donate money to “Armenian tree project “ ( 6 monts ago..) but there is something wrong with the page while trying to pay with credit card from EU …. My email remained unanswered – so I knew these are really Armenians ;-)

Miraks, top wasting your money, these trees will be cut down for chritmas, they already plan to cut them for fuel, it shows how much the locals get the message. Invest in something else.
