to me-me I did not understand who forged the elections? who relied on the oligarchs? Levon or the HHK party and the regime? u sound confused and accuse everyone and anyone without much corroboration...the issue is much simpler...there is a failed state, a state apparatus which is represented by oligarch-mafia-criminal and some opportunists who are running the country as if it is their mafia organization...it is so straight forward that i can't but say those who talk about other issues are really misled or misleading distractors...

@armen No one is accusing the ARF of anything. It is a plain fact!! Are you an ARF member? Did you vote for them during the National Assembly election? How do you feel now that you have ZERO representation in the NA and your vote went into the garbage? All because of a "Road Map". I guess the Turkish issue to the ARF is more important than Karabagh. Wouldnt you rather see your elected officials stay in the NA, fight it out and resolve all of Armenia's issue instead of running away like a bunch of head less chickens. If you had stayed in the NA, would you have had a poor showing in the Yerevan elections? You probably would have received more than 7 % of the vote needed to take part in the Yerevan Assembly. Now you have do not have any representation anywhere!! You sound like a typical ARF Diasporan Armenian who wants to feel "sad" and does nothing but complain.

Shame on these authorities and oligarchs around them! As I said many times Levon Ter-Petrosyan in no way honest to Armenians (Levon is lying too and abusing people for his dirty policy!). Levon and his policy are aginst the national interests of Armenian people! Armenian people do not need just another revolution; we need responsible and honest leaders! Only Armenian authorities and leader of opposition need just a mentality revolution! First of all authorities are responsible for the criminal actions of Levon and extremist around him Widespread vote buying, use of all kind of `administrative resources' and threats by the governing parties and voter intimidation by government-connected wealthy individuals are almost the same criminal, immoral and inhuman acts as when a Turkish official would show a peace of bread and some water to “deported” Armenians in Der Zor and demand to accept Islam and agree to Turcification in order get a peace of bread! Vote buying is a criminal action!! Shame on these authorities and so called opostion. NO RED LINE AT ALL!! Enough is enough. Even so called self rule of Kurds in North Iraq is elected in more democratic way

the opposition remarks on this site sound like they come from the enemy. Ever since last year's elections there is this group of people talking against Armenian State. It will always be there for its people, no matter who the president is.

it's interesting that Armenia just experienced another miserable fraud election led by the Republican party, and instead of being sad for the entire state of affairs in Armenia and those responsible, some on this forum begin bashing ARF with false accusations. I only know of Turks who hate and fear ARF so much that they gear all their arguments against Armenia on ARF.

@Gurgen And now, ANC is pulling the same garbage. @Garo Who is ready to sign anything? C'mon people!! The Turks will never acknowledge the Genocide, they will not open the border and will not give a meter of Western Armenia back. KARABAGH SHOULD BE THE MAIN FOCUS HERE!! We have been living here for the last 17 years without Turkey or Azerbaijan. Why change now? We should be focusing on creating a serious export network. Im not talking about Apricots and Brandy. Industrial Manufacturing and export. The border opening would appeal to me when our exports are 4 to 1 against our imports instead of the opposite, which is where it is now.

and what is "western isnpired" for you? Serge Sargsyan's vicious, authoritarian regime? you sound like arabs, egyptians who blame the west for anything and everything, and believe in conspiracy theories, if there is any "western inspired" issue that is serjik's regime, the failed state of Armenia that is ready to sign even with the enemy rather than reconcile with its own people and establish free, democrat country

@Me, Please go ahead and start your western inspired "armed rebellion", I looking forward to seeing crypto-Turks like you shot down... Armenia need political evolution not a revolution.

I agree with sos, what the ARF did was totally stupid. They basically kicked themselves out of the political process over some vague diplomatic wrangling. One would think a party that has over a hundred years of history would be a bit more mature about such political matters...

It is another sad day for Armenia, maybe the only way out of this is "Vorogite" is armed rebellion.

What a sad commentary that only 53% of the electorate turned out to vote. The people of Yerevan have no one else to blame but themselves for the continuance of the criminal gang of thugs and oligarchs that run the city and by extension the country.

Congratulations to the ARF!! You boneheads left the government last month because the Government signed a useless piece of paper, now you got less than 5% of the mayoral vote. Now you are sucking up again stating "we don't see any violations". Keep up the good work. You wont be involved in Armenia's political process for another 20 years. If I were an ARF member and thank god I am not, I would throw all of your prior elected officials and leaders out of this country. They are wasting your votes!! Wake UP!!
