Orange presented commercial offer for supporting network
The new network already supporting up to 42 Mb/sec download speed and the modem technically supporting up to 42 Mb/sec speed enable to instantly download music, films, application software, play online games, as well as watch films on internet without interruptions and even with HD quality. Bruno Duthoit, CEO of Orange Armenia, said: “Technical testing period lasted exactly two months. Such testing was really needed for us to be convinced that our customers, in general, will have satisfactory customer experience. Today we are proud to share our new achievement with all. Now Armenia is one of the few countries of Orange footprint to implement this technology. This is a new quality criterion in Armenia and it embodies our ambition to always offer the latest and most reliable technology to our customers.” Internet Now 4 modem can be acquired at a special price, if subscribing to 11 000 and 20 000 AMD monthly subscription tariff plan. Those Internet Now 11 000 tariff plan subscribers, who will sign an agreement for 12-month commitment period, will be able to buy Internet Now 4 modem at 39 000 AMD, and those of Internet Now 20 000 tariff plan can buy it at 19 000 AMD. Upon expiry of 1-year commitment period, the modem will become the property of the subscriber. Aram Mkrtchyan, Marketing Director of Orange Armenia, said: “We have many customers, who are already Internet Now subscribers. We don’t want them to think that they were in haste to get their Internet Now subscription. They can replace their Internet Now 7.2 Mb/sec or Internet Now 14.4 Mb/sec modems with the new and faster Internet Now 42.2 Mb/sec MF 680 modem. The only thing they will need to do is just to sign an agreement on prolongation of their subscription for 1 year and become Internet Now 11 000 or 20 000 tariff plan subscriber.” Internet Now 4 modem can be also acquired without 12-month subscription commitment, at 59 000 AMD.
