Safe online environment: Orange celebrates Safe Internet Day
Within the framework of one month project, around 300 teachers of high schools will be trained on the principles of interent safety, and more than 5000 schoolchildren and students of pedagogical universities will participate in open lessons on this topics. Orange shops will make available to customers not only the best anti-virus programs from Kaspersky, but also another electronic package from this global leader of safe internet. The Kaspersky Internet Security program will allow parents to maximally protect their children from irrelevant and dangerous content. Orange began collaborating with Kaspersky Laboratory as early as September 2011, when all customers got the possibility to try, free of charge, the Kaspersky anti-virus program. Now the company is taking another step towards safe internet. «As part of our collaboration with Kaspersky Laboratory, the global leader in safe internet, our 70,000 internet customers can supervise the online activities of their children,” says Bruno Duthoit, Orange Armenia CEO. ‘’However, offering a software solution is not enough in itself to ensure the complete online protection of our customers. In Armenia we provide internet services and our position of leader in mobile internet gives us the resposibility of supporting, educating and directing customers in the safe usage of the internet. In the scope of our corporate social responsibility we have joined this initiative with great pleasure, which aims at giving the keys of safe use of the internet.”
