The decision of the Constitutional Court of Republic of Armenia implies that if it wasn't politicized, it has ample reasons to declare the pair of protocols unconstitutional. Referring to the requirements of Paragraph 11 of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia without reciting it- because of G word- it is a clear indication of degree of pressure from Mr. Sargisian. The Court has followed the same approach as Mr. Sargisian where Mr. Sargisian declared wonderful things in his national address on October 10, 2009, however despite of his believes the protocols were signed anyway. Here, we have the same line of thinking. The Court lays down several legal grounds that are sufficient reasons to conclude unconstitutionality of the protocols. However, it decides the protocols conform with the Constitution without any reservations or conditions. Opposition must appeal the decision of the Court to the European Court of Human Rights.
