I agree with President. The opening of Armenian-Turkish border is the initiative of peace. Through this the relation between Armenia and Turkey will grow in a positive way. ================= Martinez yogesh whats on in Sydney

Erdogan - Eastern Turkey IS Western Armenia. ......... Just what is that you don't understand? No Preconditions! International law states that normalization of relations between country A and country B cannot be conditioned on relations with country Z. Furthermore, International law states that border closure is considered an act of war. Turkey can open its borders just as it closed them nearly 20 years ago. There is no need for protocols to open borders.

We would rather die landlocked than die on our knees. We do have Russia, Iran, and in the near future, Georgia as great friends. turk, what do you expect us to do? War is all we've known for the last 100 years between our communities, and to this day turkiye and azerbaijan continues war-like rhetoric (though I give turkey credit for entering the 20th century)...how can we "negotiate" Karabaghs independence away, or even the security zones, when you continue to threaten us in times of "peace"???

According to UN resolutions Armenia is an invader in Azerbaijan.20% of Azerbaijan is under inavision acc to Un resolution. Around 1 million azeris are deported from their homeland by a genocide! The ones who commited genocide are free in armenia. They shall be punished for sake of humanity. If Armenia want to have good relations with its neighbours first it must respect te neighbours land.Otherwise Armenia is facing the faith that it itself created !

Azeris killed 3 million Armenians in Artsakh, they took over Armenian Baku. Unless 3 million Azeris commit suicide and Baku returns to Armenians there will be no peace. Anonymous, that's how silly you sound... i don't know what is worse for Armenia a blockade or having greedy neighbors like you...

Armenia is invading 20% of Azerbaijan land.1 million of Azeris are deported from their homeland. The matter is in the scape of a genocide. The Azeri genocide which started from hocalı.The 38 Armenian heads that committed the crime(Azerbaijan gave the names to UN) these shall be presecuted by international law due to their crimes against humanity. While these criminals are living freely in their privilidged residences the world is never a safe place to live. First Armenia shall withdraw the invasion then it shall punish the criminals The last pay the compensation of the Azerbaijan genocide.thenafter we Turks may decide to have good relations with them.Otherwise Armenia shall not dream anything good from us.

We Turks don't need the border to be opened at all. We can easily wait and sleep for an other 100 years. The question is weather Azerbaijan will wait for so long, I am quite sure they will launch a war very soon for to regain control over their lost territories. Despite all the rhetoric from the Armenian side I don't believe Armenia is able for to last a decade at all. The international pressure on Turkey is in fact an result of the deep cry of Armenia for the international leaders that they can't stand it anymore. Objectively: Armenia is landlocked with virtually no economic activity. Decreasing population, poverty and a powerful hostile Azerbaijan. The propects aren't looking good at all. So Armenia needs Azerbaijan and Turkey for its own survival without it they are doomed to die in hardship. Turkey will never ever betray its brother Azerbaijan!!! That's an unwritten fact and law in Turkey!!!

I have a message for the little sultan...no one cares what you have to say...not even your own people. if/when you have your civil war, we should attack your nation at your vulnerable time to get you to AGAIN recognize Artsakhs independence, as you did for your country by signing the peace agreement with them in 1993. now i'll end with 'siktir' and 'bok ye'. your country created racist strive and raped/murdered people in Sumgait and Baku because the people of Artsakh wanted freedom. turks must show civility before they pretend to possess it.

We should not even talk to them at all, not even with a third party (Russia/US) until they decide to open the border. That's what most countries would do. There's no need to make THEM look good by giving them an opportunity to save face. We do not gain a thing, either in PR or political equity or anything. If Turkey wants something from us, they should first open their doors. They closed them. Armenia can expect nothing else, while we continue to support the liberated lands being in the lands of the people it belongs to.
