We Turks don't need the border to be opened at all. We can easily wait and sleep for an other 100 years. The question is weather Azerbaijan will wait for so long, I am quite sure they will launch a war very soon for to regain control over their lost territories. Despite all the rhetoric from the Armenian side I don't believe Armenia is able for to last a decade at all. The international pressure on Turkey is in fact an result of the deep cry of Armenia for the international leaders that they can't stand it anymore. Objectively: Armenia is landlocked with virtually no economic activity. Decreasing population,poverty and a powerful hostile Azerbaijan. The propects aren't looking good at all. We should not even talk to them at all, not even with a third party (Russia/US) until they decide to open the border. That's what most countries would do. There's no need to make THEM look good by giving them an opportunity to save face. We do not gain a thing, either in PR or political equity or anything. If Turkey wants something from us, they should first open their doors. They closed them. Armenia can expect nothing else, while we continue to support the liberated lands being in the lands of the people it belongs to.
