the article brings up a good point. we are quick to blame the georgians for the confiscation of our churches and monuments for being part of some campaign against us...(which is not totally untrue..) yet we forget to put at least part of the blame on ourselves, for lacking to organise effectively after the fall of the wall...as such many armenians in tiflis would rather go to georgian school, or move to armenia or russia than create the basis of a strong armenian community there. thus, yes we asked for our churches back, but it was half-assed.... we said "can we have our churches back?..then answered "what churches?" and we said "oh sorry to bother you". obviously, the georgian church (which is in full expansion now)is in need of new locations..they have also taken over greek and catholic churches, not just armenians...so its up to us to make a sustained and comprehensive effort to keep our own heritage alive instead of trying to create scandals involving the georgians and all
