Tourism is vital to the well being of many countries, because of the income generated by the consumption of goods and services by tourists, the taxes levied on businesses in the tourism industry. Outgoing tourism is now taking place. It indicates the people’s well-being or expensiveness of local resorts. This will resulted in increase the charges of hotels and resorts.

Mekhak Apresyan, Head of the Tourism and Regional Economic Development Department at the Ministry of Economy does not agree, because if he does, he will be fired immediately :)) But i am quite sure he has at least spent one oif his summers in Georgia. The local tourism is expensive and there is no quality or quantity of service available for the amounts paid. Last week in Sevan we (two of us) spent 1.5 hours, during which the so-called administration managed to grab us by about 15000 AMD (about $50) (which included: entrance of car, 20 minutes of swimming in dirty cold pool-formed water, eating two fish and potato and drinking a coke). with $50 in Georgia we (three of us) will stay in normal room with private bathroom and water (which is 25$) and eat twice in full during the day, and swim in salty water.
