The chairman of precinct election commission N12 in constituency N10 has been charged with election fraud under Article 150 of the Criminal Code, according to a report by the Prosecutor-General’s Office.

The report says that the Prosecutor-General’s Office followed on the report by the A1+ website alleging fraudulent activities in the January 10 by-election and established that the chairman of the commission, identified as G. Galoyan, rigged the outcome of the vote by means of tampering with the voter lists.

The case has been sent to court.
