On March 13, the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan called a meeting of the National Security Council.

At the meeting discussed were issues related to the preparatory works and conduct of the draft in the Republic of Armenia and the completion of the earlier issued instructions. Relevant bodies were given new instructions related to the clarification of enlistment, registration, and medical exam procedures for the conscripts.

A comprehensive plan of reforms in the Armenian Police Force for 2010-2011, which is aimed at the implementation of the obligations assumed by Armenia in the framework of cooperation with the European Council, OSCE and EU as well as at the establishment of greater trust toward the Police Force, was approved.
