RA Deputy PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan received Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) delegation. Chairman of State Water Committee of the RA MTA Andranik Andreasyan took part in the meeting.

Deputy PM greeted the guests and expressed hope that results of JICA mission’s visit to Armenia will be mutually satisfactory and useful. He underscored the efficiency of projects together with JICA and expressed confidence that established traditions will continue. A. Gevorgyan suggested presenting those fields in which the companies were interested to implement projects in.

According to head of the JICA’s Department of the Caucasus and Central Asia Fasuto Tonaka the organization finds it reasonable to fund the projects of regional importance, that is why preference is given to the construction project "North-South" highway and the organization is ready to discuss the issue related to financial participation. A. Gevorgyan attached importance to JICA’s participation in projects having essential importance to Armenia
