Armenia’s Central Election Commission has published the final results of the May 6 parliamentary elections, showing five parties and one bloc entering the nation’s National Assembly.
The final tabulation shows a convincing victory for the ruling Republican Party that gets 44.02 percent (or 664,440 votes), followed by the Prosperous Armenia Party with 30.12 percent (or 454,673 votes) and the opposition Armenian National Congress bloc – 7.08 percent (106,903 votes).
