Gospel According to LTP: “Moral code” explains snub of Hovannisian

The “Ter” in his name is an Armenian construct to indicate that Levon Ter-Petrosyan comes from a family of priests. So who should dare split theological hairs with the Armenian National Congress leader?

Let me take a shot, so as to not totally waste four years of university religious study and two years of seminary, in reply to Ter-Petrosyan’s claim that the reason he is snubbing Raffi Hovannisian is based on Christian conviction . . .

Demagogue is the word that comes to mind to describe LTP comments.

Now that they have officially ordained Raffi as Washington's man in Armenia, how easily they drop the unpredictable Levon... Can you people here be a little less predictable?

Hey Krikor, You seem to be misinformed if you believe that only LTP was ready to return the liberated territories. The present Sargsyan regime is ready to do the same.Have you been following the proouncements of FM Nalbandyan?

What an idiot! That's all I can say about LTP. I'm ashamed of him being the first president of Armenia.

How the hell did christian doctrine all of a sudden become the moral compass for political dialogue and cooperation between the so-called opposition? So I guess LTP has now found religion, or at least he now finds it convenient, to note scripture and medieval Armenian clergy to defend his inexcusable behavior on March 17. In any event, it's all semantic and spiritual gobbldy-gook if you ask me. But a good retort John, thanks for the "enlightenment" as an erstwhile theological student. What ever happened to "love thy neighbor" or "he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone..." I guess this is one for the "Holy Synod" to judge. Shades of the Inquisition??

Not bad John! You seem to be well versed in theology and Christianity. Once in a while you write something constructive ;)
