EEU Conference: Officials debate whether to boycott

Last week, it became known that a summit of the prime ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) was being moved from Yerevan to Moscow, because of fighting in Nagorno Karabakh. The head of the Government of Kazakhstan proposed moving the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, eliciting a mixed reaction in Armenia and causing some officials to say Armenia should boycott.

Vatican, Echmiadzin Confirm: Pope’s visit to Armenia set for June

Pope Francis, the head of the Roman Catholic Church, will pay a visit to Armenia at the end of June, the Vatican and Echmiadzin announced over the weekend.
