
Armenia’s Ministry of Defense has published the latest data on casualties at the line of contact between Nagorno-Karabakh’s and Azerbaijan’s armed forces since the start of the month, putting the overall death toll at 92.
According to these data, a total of 77 people – 64 servicemen and 13 volunteers and militia – were killed on the Armenian side in fighting at the line of contact in April 2-5.
One officer, captain Argishti Gaboyan, is considered to be missing.
According to the Ministry, in the period of April 2-13 in conditions of increased tensions on the borders, the non-combat losses of the Armenian side amounted to 9 soldiers, 2 volunteers, 4 civilians (residents of Nagorno-Karabakh), who died as a result of “the criminal acts of the enemy”.
