Last Respects

A requiem mass for Adam Sahakyan, one of several dozen Armenian servicemen who were killed in resisting Azerbaijan’s aggression in Nagorno-Karabakh earlier this month, took place at Yerevan’s Surb Hovhannes Church on Tuesday afternoon. The 20-year-old, who studied design at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia before being conscripted to the army, will be buried with military honors on April 13.
