Wrestling: Armenian wins silver medal at world cadet championships

Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestler Edgar Tamazyan (54 kg) placed second winning a silver medal at the FILA World Wrestling Cadet Championships in Snina, Slovakia.

In the final Tamazyan wrestled against Parviz Nasibov representing Ukraine and lost 0-5, according to media reports.

Earlier, another Armenian wrestler Arman Baghdasaryan (63kg) won the bronze beating Titas Kersevichius from Lithuania in the medal bout.

A total of 300 athletes from 46 countries participated in the Greco-Roman wrestling event.
