Decision 2013: More than 7,000 observers monitoring Monday ballot

International expert Center for Electoral Systems (ICES) observers

Twelve international and 26 local organizations are monitoring the presidential election in Armenia, including 6,251 local and 632 international observers.

The largest international vote-monitoring mission, ODIHR/OSCE, is represented by 263 observers. The International expert Center for Electoral Systems (ICES) has 35 observers, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly – 30 observers, the CIS Monitoring Mission - 163 observers, the European Parliament - 12 observers, embassies accredited to Armenia – 34 observers.

A total of 1,988 polling stations are open across Armenia today for a 12-hour balloting ending 8 pm.
